loan-repayment

Loan Repayment

You will need to authorize us to make all of the payments required under the Loan Agreement by remotely creating check that is drawn on the checking account you elect for repayment. Upon signing the Loan Agreement, you need to fill in required bank account information for repayment purpose in your Westbon account. The repayment will be automatic per the payment schedule shown in your Loan Agreement. You will get an email notification for repayment a few days before the due date every month.

Failing to pay off your monthly repayment before the due date will be considered as a late payment or even a default case if the payment is overdue for over 15 days. A penalty fee of the lesser of $15 or 5% of the unpaid installment amount will be charged if you do not pay off your monthly repayment on time, and your credit record of Westbon will be damaged due to late payment. Please be aware that a default case will have huge negative impact on your credit history in the United States and potentially your home country, since Westbon will report such default cases to major credit reporting agencies in the United States and potentially your home country. With a bad credit history, your life and work in either the United States or your home country will be greatly affected. In addition, if you apply for auto loan product, an auto repossession will be triggered and you will be subject to additional collection fees besides the cumulative late payment fees. To summarize, if you do not make monthly repayments and then default on your auto or personal loan with Westbon, this will cause:

1. Incurrence of high penalty fees.

2. Bad credit history in both the United States and your home country.

3. Auto repossession of your car financed by Westbon (for auto loan).

4. Being blacklisted in our system and the default case will be reported to major credit reporting agencies in the United States and your home country.

Yes, you can pay off your remaining balance of the auto loan in advance without any penalty.

Unfortunately, we are unable to extend your loan term at current stage.
